New York, New York – Jessica Lyon, Partner, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, at Co-Communications, Inc., will be a featured guest speaker at the PRSA Tri-State Conference: “Thinking Differently About PR” on Oct. 20. The Tri-State Conference will be will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at New York University’s Kimmel Center. A reception will follow the full day of learning and professional growth.
As a leader and innovator at the forefront of the communications industry, Lyon will be featured on the panel, “Tri-State Game Changers: Best of the Best.” The panel of esteemed public relations and integrated marketing experts, hailing from Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, will share their insights and experiences creating award-winning campaigns for nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Key takeaways will include best practices, lessons learned and tips for achieving better results, regardless of budget.
Lyon will focus on the case study of Co-Communications’ partnership with client, Grace Smith House, and the domestic violence agency’s successful effort to educate teens through two award-winning online quizzes on healthy relationships and digital abuse. Lyon, who heads Co-Communications’ office in Farmington, Conn., has an extensive background in journalism as a former reporter for Hometown Publications in Shelton, Conn. and editor at Hamden Journal and Stratford Star.
