Lauren B. Kaufman, Director of Client Services
Lauren B. Kaufman supervises several major accounts, develops and
maintains strong media relations, and assists in new business efforts.
Lauren joined Co-Communications with diverse agency experience.
She served as account coordinator at KGBTexas in San Antonio, TX,
where she worked on a variety of accounts, including Alamo Workforce
Development and the Alamo Quarry Market. She also served as public
relations account manager at Mascola in New Haven, CT, where she
worked with Bradley International Airport, Coastal Fairfield County
Convention & Visitors Bureau, and other clients. She has also
worked as an independent public relations consultant.
Prior to her segue into public relations, Lauren was research director
and staff reporter at Westfair Communications, which publishes the
Westchester County Business Journal and the Fairfield
County Business Journal. Her work has also been published in
the San Antonio Express-News, the San Antonio Business
Journal, and several community newspapers in the San Antonio
area.
Lauren served as publicity chair for the PRSA/Southern Connecticut
Chapter’s Mercury Awards. Her publicity efforts yielded more
entries over any other year.
Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public
Relations for Television and Radio from Ithaca College.
Despite her allergy to the feline species, Lauren volunteers her
time at the local animal shelter.
