Katherine McKee, Account Services Manager
Katherine McKee started out with Co-Communications as an hourly
employee and soon became Executive Assistant, then promoted to Account Services Manager. Initially her focus
was on streamlining the billing process, managing the office and
planning the office move to next door. She quickly became more involved
in client and media relations, event planning and contracts and
proposals. She very much enjoys working with local area students
and running our intern program.
She brings diverse experience from her responsibilities in various
industries. While self-employed, she combined personal assistance,
house management, concierge services, personal shopping, menu and
meal planning, cooking and event planning. Prior to this she worked
in the financial industry both on the sell-side, at a full-service
brokerage firm, and the buy-side, at an investment management firm,
and held her General Securities License since 1994. In this industry,
she maintained and fostered client relations, produced performance
estimates for investment strategies, and worked closely with the
investment and executive teams.
Katherine was granted both a Provost Scholarship and a University
Scholarship to Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX where
she started out with a Finance Major and Computer Science Minor.
After her sophomore year, she transferred to Rollins College in
Winter Park, FL. She finished with a B.A. while working full-time
at a telecommunications company as a Marketing Assistant. Her first
press release was on Caller ID and Caller ID Blocking in 1990.
