Kate Ottavio, Account Coordinator
Kate Ottavio is responsible for general account management in the Connecticut office of Co-Communications. She writes and distributes press releases and collateral materials, coordinates special events and maintains strong media relations. Since joining Co-Communications, Kate has been honored with a PRSA Mercury Award for account coordination of a real estate client and has been featured in PR Daily. She created and contributes to the Co-Communications blog.
Before joining Co-Communications, Kate interned with two PR agencies in New York and Connecticut, and a non-profit theater in upstate New York. She is a graduate of Quinnipiac University with a B.A. in Public Relations and a minor in Sociology, Magna Cum Laude. Kate is the recipient of the University's Outstanding Achievement Award for PR. While at Quinnipiac, she was a member of the school's chapter of PRSSA, Recruitment Chair of Quinnipiac University's National Honor Society Lambda Pi Eta, a member of QU Dance Company and served as Firm Director of Quinnipiac's student-run PR firm. Kate currently serves as a member of the CT March of Dimes Communications Committee.
