Collette Pelletier, Account Manager
Collette Pelletier is responsible for general account management
in the Connecticut office of Co-Communications. She writes press
releases and collateral materials, coordinates special events, maintains
strong media relations and assists in the training and development
of new staff.
Before joining Co-Communications, Collette worked at the Standard-Times
in New Bedford, Massachusetts as a freelance correspondent. She
covered local feature stories ranging in topics from education to
business. Collette also worked in the PR Department of the New Bedford
Whaling Museum where she developed a press kit, began a recruitment
campaign, wrote for the Museum’s newsletter, and pursued media
inquiries/coverage.
She is a graduate of Quinnipiac University with a B.A. in Public
Relations and a minor in Business Management. Collette was awarded
the Dean’s Scholarship for all four years of college. While
at Quinnipiac, she was a member of the school’s chapter of
PRSSA. During her senior year, she was a finalist in a regional
PR contest for the United States Postal Service in which colleges
and universities in the tri-state area competed to have their ideas
used in a promotional campaign for the USPS’s online web tools.
