| “In a media
dominated society, breaking through the clutter is imperative. I
thrive on finding a client’s distinguishing factors and optimizing
their marketability and newsworthiness.”
Danielle Cyr, Account Coordinator
Danielle Cyr joins Co-Communications as an Account Coordinator
in the Connecticut office. Her responsibilities include conducting
client research, coordinating media placement, developing and maintaining
media relationships, writing press releases and print collateral
as well as other administrative tasks.
Prior to joining Co-Communications, Danielle worked for Data Reporting
Corp., a public records research and retrieval firm where, in addition
to administrative tasks and records work, she developed print advertising
to run in ParaPhrase, a publication of the Central Connecticut
Paralegal Association.
A graduate of the University of Hartford, Danielle holds a B.A.
in Communications, Magna Cum Laude, with emphasis in Advertising
and Public Relations. Her education afforded her the opportunity
to work on two projects for the American Advertising Federation’s
National Student Advertising Competition, one marketing Yahoo! Internet
to 10 to 13 year olds, the other building awareness and increasing
sales for Postal Vault in major cities and identity theft markets.
The Yahoo! Campaign placed first at the district level and was presented
at the AAF’s National Conference. Additionally, Danielle worked
on the development of a Public Relations Campaign for the Connecticut
Lawyers Group and interned as a Junior Copywriter at Lang Durham.
She is also the recipient of the University’s Award for Excellence
in the Study of Advertising. |
